Eddie Van Halen is the most influential and
innovative rock guitarist to emerge since Jimi hendrix. Van Halen not only
changed the way the electric guitar is played, he also affected the way
it is made. Several guitar product innovations, most notably the floyd
Rose tremolo system, were directly influenced by Van Halen's playing style.
His two handedd tapping technique is now an accepted part of most rock
guitarists' repertoirs. Van Halen remains one of rock music's most popular
guitarists.
Edddie Van Halen uses an Ernie Ball music
man and at the moment a Peavey EVH he is also the co inventor of the Peavey
5150 amplifier.
